The rebranding project for HROTE — Croatian Energy Market Regulator was launched to develop a new visual communication system and position the organisation among the leading service providers in the Central European energy market. At the same time, it was intended to support the integration of the Croatian energy market into the broader European Union framework.

The result is a system built around a central circular symbol composed of four equal segments, evoking the natural cycle of the elements. Each segment represents one of the energy sources that surround us — the sun, water, wind and earth — and is assigned its own colour, applied consistently throughout the visual identity.

The new visual identity marks a step towards a contemporary graphic language that reflects the company’s focus on innovation in both the local and global energy market. Across the various communication materials, particular emphasis is placed on animated elements, highlighting and encouraging the production of electricity from renewable sources and cogeneration.
