The “Boutique Hotel Venturo” project in Split involved building the brand from the ground up, with a focus on the experience of emotional luxury – a luxury that is both refined and intimate, contemporary yet deeply connected to local culture. The concept is encapsulated in the slogan “Find Your Moment”, which shifts the focus from the hotel itself to the guest’s personal experience, emphasising a sense of calm, presence and authenticity.
The name “Venturo” is inspired by the Latin words ventus (wind) and venire (to come), as well as the expression tempo venturo – the time to come. It symbolises movement, arrival and change.
The visual identity is based on the letter V monogram, whose delicate serif forms evoke motion and continuity. At its core is a dialogue between two typographic expressions: the refined elegance of Ninna (Claude Type), used in the logo, and the restrained precision of Gordian (Nikola Đurek), inspired by classical Roman capitals. This interplay creates a balance between softness and structure, contemporary expression and historical reference, shaping a recognisable and enduring visual language.
In addition to the identity, all key communication materials were developed and designed – from business stationery and the website to interior and exterior signage systems – ensuring a consistent visual language. A palette of warm, sandy tones and tactile textures reflects the light, stone and calmness of the Mediterranean coast. The combination of classical elegance and contemporary simplicity defines a visual language of understated luxury and timeless sophistication.
