The “ENEH CHAIR” is a minimalist wooden chair defined by geometric clarity, organic lines and the expressive character of solid timber. Its design subtly draws on the structural features of traditional Hungarian peasant carts.

The form explores the relationship between straight and curved lines, balancing structural discipline with a sense of continuous movement. Its distinctive double armrests create a broad, embracing form within a restrained structure.

The chair is made from locally sourced walnut, with each piece selected according to its natural characteristics. Straight-grained timber is used for the legs, more expressive grain for the curved elements, and knotty wood, which might otherwise be discarded, for the seat. Standard timber dimensions support efficient local production using conventional woodworking tools.

The broad backrest, embracing armrests and deeply shaped seat provide ergonomic comfort. Combining careful craftsmanship with contemporary technology, the chair brings together architectural restraint, precise woodworking and a durable contemporary form.
