Lasting Landscape

Project

The women's clothing collection “Lasting Landscape” explores the relationship between sustainability, cultural heritage, and contemporary fashion. Inspired by endangered indigenous flora of Slovenia, traditional textile craftsmanship, and the painted wooden chests and woven baskets made by the designer’s grandfather, the collection reinterprets hand techniques such as crocheting, knitting, embroidery, and smocking through a modern design language. The bags included in the collection were also made by her, further connecting the project with family heritage and craftsmanship.

The project promotes longevity and responsible fashion by combining timeless silhouettes, principles of modular design, and carefully selected materials. Instead of following seasonal trends, the collection fosters a lasting emotional connection between the wearer and the garment, demonstrating how traditional craftsmanship can contribute to a more sustainable future of fashion.
