STiCKiES

Project

The “STiCKiES” project is a digital learning support platform designed for pupils in Years 5 to 8 of primary school. It is based on a personalised approach: after users scan selected learning material, the platform generates an interactive lesson adapted to their preferred way of learning.

The platform is used by both the pupil and a parent through connected but separate user profiles. Its visual identity and user interface are inspired by sticky notes, while a personalised avatar guides the pupil through the learning content.
By combining personalised content, motivational mechanisms and an accessible visual language, STiCKiES aims to make learning more effective, engaging and responsive to the needs of each pupil.

Author

The KBK creative team consists of Jelena Bakač and Maja Krsnik, master’s students in Visual Communication Design, and Beata Kopčić, a master’s student in Industrial Design at the School of Design. The team was formed as part of the Interactive Media course, driven by a shared interest in exploring how design can support children’s learning.

Through the project, they examine the application of design in education, developing a solution that encourages curiosity, creativity and independent exploration while contributing to an accessible, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
