“Soft Armour” is a new collection from the brand “Little Wonder” that reimagines jewellery as a form of personal protection – a delicate armour that does not conceal vulnerability but transforms it into strength. The collection represents a kind of synthesis of all previous collections through subtle references to the motifs, materials, and forms that have defined the distinctive style of designer Selma Štrkljević Mravak, creating a link between the past and the present.

Inspired by the organic beauty of the noble pen shell (“Pinna nobilis”), a protected and almost extinct species of the Adriatic Sea today, the collection explores the possibilities of metal becoming soft, fluid, and almost textile-like. In this process, jewellery ceases to be merely an adornment and becomes a “talisman” – an object that provides the wearer with a sense of security, belonging, and inner strength.

The collection includes necklaces, earrings, rings, and brooches crafted from 24-carat gold-plated brass, 925 silver, AAA freshwater pearls, topaz, Herkimer diamonds, and Adriatic coral. Each piece is handcrafted in the author’s studio in Croatia, with an emphasis on superior craftsmanship, durability, and the emotional value of the objects.

Special emphasis has been placed on transformability and multiple wearing options, allowing the jewellery to adapt to the daily life of the modern woman. “Soft Armour” is not just a jewellery collection, but a contemplation of the relationship between body, material, and identity – about how the objects we wear can become symbols of protection, resilience, and personal stories.
