The project “So-called Book” presents the design of “Kobajagi Knjiga”, a book written by film director Nedžad Begović. It brings together stories and anecdotes about people who have appeared in his documentary films over the past twenty years.

To reflect the cinematic context of its content, the design moves beyond the conventions of a traditional publication. The cover resembles a vintage VHS cassette, while the book is housed in a distinctive slipcase inspired by retro VHS packaging.

By connecting the content, physical object and mode of presentation, the project pays tribute to the analogue era and its visual culture, transforming the book into a nostalgic cinematic artefact.
