The “DC’S — Plywood Furniture Series” project comprises a family of flat-pack plywood furniture based on a single construction principle: splayed A-shaped legs and slot joints that give each piece stability, visual lightness and a distinctive character.

A consistent system of CNC-cut panels is applied across the M1 coffee table, the M2 dining table for six to eight people, the A1 armchair, the S1 dining chair and the modular R1 shelving unit, which can also function as a room divider or open wardrobe. Birch plywood and laminated timber form the material basis of the collection, while leather softens the seating and a slender steel rod provides storage. The layered plywood edge is deliberately left exposed as the only decorative element.
The components are arranged for efficient CNC nesting with minimal material waste and shipped flat. Smaller pieces can be assembled within five to seven minutes, without glue and with almost no tools. “DC’S” approaches furniture as small-scale architecture: a warm, durable and quietly rational system.
The series is currently at the design stage, and no prototype or model has yet been produced.
