The “Sense” project is an experimental interface that explores non-verbal and non-textual ways of discovering films through gestures, mood and intuition rather than titles, posters or algorithmic recommendations. Using hand-tracking technology, the website functions as an interactive spatial archive navigated through movement instead of conventional scrolling.
The project focuses on emotions and the subjective experience of film rather than categories such as genre. Users discover films by changing their position within a digital space defined by emotional coordinates: gentle–dark and reflective–effortless. Each position represents a particular affective range, while films are arranged according to the impression they create rather than formal criteria.
Instead of posters, films are represented by three-dimensional objects, symbols or motifs with particular significance within each film. The objects move and rotate, transforming the archive into a space to be experienced and felt rather than simply searched as a database.
