The design of the exhibition “Sa zida na zid” was conceived as a visual and spatial link between street art and memes – two expressive forms that share a similar logic of communication, dissemination, and the appropriation of public space.

The visual identity of the exhibition is based on graphic elements of links and pixels, symbols of digital culture and content transfer, which in this context serve as a bridge between the analogue wall and virtual space. In the spatial arrangement, this idea continues through installations inspired by the form of the # symbol, taken from the world of social media, but reinterpreted as a constructive and orientational element within the exhibition space.

The setup is conceived so that each wall functions as an independent unit, but simultaneously remains part of a broader narrative structure. The space is not merely envisioned as a neutral backdrop, but as an active participant in the exhibition, directing movement, gaze, and the rhythm of observation.

The aim of the design was to emphasise the strength and message of the exhibited works, while leaving sufficient space for personal interpretation and free movement – from wall to wall.
