RELAXO

Project

The “RELAXO” project explores how everyday objects found in cafés can become more engaging through simple interaction. It reconsiders conventional sugar packaging by combining its primary function with a playful element that encourages social interaction and makes waiting more enjoyable.

The box functions as standard sugar packaging, but opens to reveal a noughts-and-crosses board, with the individual sugar sachets used as playing pieces. Simple illustrations printed on their reverse sides also enable a memory game. The interaction is optional and fits naturally into the café environment without compromising the product’s primary function.

The visual identity draws on the warmth of café interiors and uses a clear graphic language that makes the interaction simple and intuitive. The project also includes a landing page presenting the concept and its use, as well as a short promotional video filmed in a real café setting. Together, these elements present the packaging not only as a functional object, but as a small experience that encourages conversation, play and a different way of spending time.
