“Dobre ribe rade zine” is a creative zine-making workshop using mixed-media techniques. The concept of “Dobre ribe” is based on the idea that it is a state of mind, regardless of gender, encouraging participants to explore their own creativity, personal expression and visual storytelling.

Collage is the workshop’s primary medium, complemented by textiles, pastels, watercolours, markers, spray paint and other materials. Particular emphasis is placed on reuse: old newspapers, magazines, crossword puzzles, paper scraps and other found materials are given a new life through cutting, combining and composition.

The workshop is led by graphic designer Laura Ljubić (@_dobrariba), while Marin Eckhel (@eckhel.marin) is in charge of the music and creative atmosphere. Participants are invited to “swim over” to Ilica 85 and create their own zine through a relaxed, hands-on process.

Dobra riba Zine Workshop

This free two-hour workshop is open to participants aged 18 and over and is led by graphic designer Laura Ljubić. Marin Eckhel provides the music selection and atmosphere during the making process.

Participants will learn a basic zine-folding technique and discover the logic behind this accessible publishing format. Collage is the primary medium, complemented by textiles, pastels, watercolours, markers, spray paint and other techniques. Most materials are recycled or collected through donations, giving old newspapers, magazines, crossword puzzles and paper scraps a new purpose.

The workshop aims to create a relaxed space for free expression, experimentation and visual storytelling. A zine can become a space for self-expression and play, as well as a medium for communicating personal, social or political messages. The concept of *dobra riba* is approached as a state of mind, regardless of gender.
