Puzzle Chair

Project
The “Puzzle Chair” project was inspired by the “Favela Chair”, and developed as a fifth-semester student project. It reinterprets its principles of affordability, accessibility and modesty, as well as its use of a do-it-yourself approach and intuitive design.
The chair consists of six panel elements connected by dovetail joints and assembled like a puzzle, without screws, glue or any additional fixings.
The components can be cut from different types of wooden board of a suitable thickness, enabling accessible production and personalisation. Its raw appearance and clearly visible construction further emphasise the project’s underlying values.
