“NON-VIOLENCE vol. 2” is a five-day programme by Centar za kulturu Čakovec that encourages dialogue on violence, support and prevention among adolescents and parents through performances, panel discussions and workshops. Rather than depicting violence directly, the project translates its consequences into a communication system that encourages awareness and action.

The visual language was developed to communicate non-violence without making violence itself the central reference. Instead, it focuses on emotional response, support and what follows after the experience of violence.

The visual identity is based on layered, slightly damaged paper and handwritten messages of support, with each fragment coming from a different person. Together, they form a collage that reflects the complexity of these experiences and the idea that emotional wounds can be eased over time, through relationships and the presence of others.

Colour becomes the tone of the campaign’s communication: a warm, gentle orange creates a sense of calm and safety. In the logo, the word “NE” takes visual precedence, while “nasilje” is reduced and pushed into the background of the hierarchy.
The communication extends across posters, a booklet, social media and stickers that enter the participants’ everyday lives, allowing the message to remain present even after the programme has ended.
