The „L-280” chair was developed through research into alternative seating typologies, with a particular focus on kneeling chairs. The project is based on an analysis of different body positions and the ways in which the body interacts with a chair, exploring how angles, proportions and posture influence comfort and ergonomics.

„L-280” functions as a conventional kneeling chair while also enabling alternative ways of sitting through a rotating seat. This simple adjustment allows it to respond to different postures, habits and user preferences. Stops on the underside of the seat limit the range of motion, allowing controlled movement between two defined angles and preventing loss of balance.
Rather than imposing a single “correct” way of sitting, the chair encourages users to actively explore and experiment with its form. By enabling different modes of use, it adapts to the user’s body and offers a more personal and dynamic approach to sitting.
