Each installation is created in response to a specific site, its dimensions and the way it is used. An object is introduced into the space not to complement it, but to change how it functions, transforming emptiness into a place for staying, resting and meeting. The process of knotting is simultaneously a method of construction and shaping, with rope tension, the openness of the structure and adaptation to the site determining the final form. Each intervention is shaped directly by the conditions of its location. The works sit at the intersection of design, architecture and sculpture, exploring how knotted structures change the way we experience and use space.
