18. Fanfara 2025

Project
The project “18th Fanfara 2025” presents the visual identity of Slovenia’s largest student marketing conference, whose central theme was growth, understood not as a destination, but as a continuous process of learning, adaptation and transformation.
The visual language was developed from microscopic life forms and single-celled organisms – blurred, semi-formed structures that appear fluid, soft and constantly evolving. This led to a system of organic three-dimensional forms that function as a living organism rather than a static identity. The forms divide, stretch, merge and multiply, continuously transforming across different applications. In this way, they become a metaphor for testing ideas, learning from mistakes and adapting as a condition for development.
The identity avoids rigid grids and strict geometry, relying instead on soft, layered compositions. Bold colours and subtle tension evoke the friction that precedes progress. The system was designed to grow, with each new touchpoint introducing variations and allowing the identity to evolve alongside the campaign, reflecting the transformation to which the audience itself was invited.

The project was created by a design team from the Student Section of the Slovenian Marketing Association, a community that connects young marketing enthusiasts, provides opportunities for learning and collaboration, and encourages students to gain practical experience through real projects.
The team consists of Oskar, Sandra, Neža, Lana, Nina and Jaka, who were selected on the basis of their portfolios and interest in design. They joined the project voluntarily, bringing together different perspectives, skills and a shared curiosity for experimentation.
Beyond design, the team members have a wide range of interests, including bowling, ceramics, cooking, coffee culture, experimenting with smoothies and even driving tractors. This combination of creative curiosity, diverse experiences and openness to new ideas became the foundation of an identity centred on growth, experimentation and continuous evolution.
