RIT Croatia is the oldest private higher education institution in Croatia. Founded in 1997 as the Croatian campus of the US university Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), it delivers American higher education programmes in Dubrovnik and Zagreb. Upon graduation, students receive two diplomas – an American and a Croatian one. Courses are taught in English, with an emphasis on multidisciplinary education, experiential learning and preparation for the job market.

The New Media Design BFA programme brings together design, technology and storytelling through project-based learning. Students develop skills in visual communication, digital media, UX/UI design, motion graphics and creative technologies while collaborating on real-world projects and working across disciplines.

As part of RIT’s broader ecosystem of art, design, computing and innovation, the programme encourages creative exploration, critical thinking and hands-on learning. RIT Croatia also fosters a diverse and engaged community of students, alumni, faculty and staff, built on collaboration, partnership and mutual respect.
