Program

Design and Audiovisual Communications at Juraj Dobrila University of Pula is an interdisciplinary art programme connecting contemporary design, visual communication, media and new technologies. The programme combines theoretical, creative and technical-practical knowledge, preparing students to work across contemporary creative and media industries.

Through individual and collaborative project work, students develop skills in graphic design, visual identity, typography, digital imaging, photography, illustration, web and information design, multimedia storytelling, sound design, motion graphics, 3D animation and new media. The programme encourages creativity, experimentation, independent thinking and openness towards contemporary artistic and technological practices.

The programme approaches design as a field that continuously evolves alongside technologies, media and forms of communication. Students are therefore encouraged not only to master tools, but to understand visual culture, develop their own creative perspective and respond critically to the changes shaping contemporary society.
