The Department of Wood Technology, Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology, this year presents prototypes and concepts from student projects, as well as final and diploma theses developed during the academic years 2024/25 and 2025/26. The Faculty of Forestry and Wood Technology (FŠDT) is an internationally recognised institution for educating highly skilled personnel for the needs of forestry, wood processing, and furniture production. Students of the Department of Wood Technology engage in the integrated application of natural and technical sciences with artistic components. They learn about wood as a building material in wood technology processes, as well as in the design and construction of wood products. The FŠDT exhibition features two student projects: “Osuvremenjivanje i oporaba postojećeg proizvoda za sjedenje - recikliranje i prenamjena materijala (5re) u novu funkcionalno-vizualnu estetiku uz primjenu elemenata hrvatske baštine i/ili identiteta fakulteta” and “Integracija proizvodnih drvnih i tekstilnih ostataka u oblikovanju suvremenih održivih proizvoda”, developed within design courses and final and diploma theses under the mentorship of Associate Professor Dr. Sc. Danijela Domljan, MA in Design.
