The “Between Layers: The Art of Slow Living” project encompasses the complete transformation of a 1960s apartment in Ljubljana. Conceived, curated and styled by Iza Magajna, it explores the relationship between space, atmosphere and visual storytelling through a slow and considered approach to living. By combining existing architectural features with carefully selected materials, contemporary design pieces and personal objects, the interior reflects the identity of its resident rather than responding to trends.

The exhibition presents the completed interior alongside selected visuals from the “ETIS Living SS24 Collection”, demonstrating how the same design principles extend across residential interiors, creative direction and editorial storytelling. Although created in different contexts, both projects examine how materials, light, composition and carefully selected objects shape timeless, authentic and emotionally engaging environments.

Rather than presenting interiors as static compositions, “Between Layers” celebrates spaces that evolve over time, shaped by memories, everyday rituals and the people who inhabit them.
